Burak Özcan
Co-Founder & Head Chef
With nearly two decades of experience in food and beverage operations, Chef Burak Ozcan has built a career around creating exceptional culinary experiences for events of every size. He began as a chef in some of the Mediterranean's most luxurious five-star resorts before moving to Dallas in 2011, where he worked alongside celebrity chef Stephan Pyles to launch several acclaimed restaurant concepts. After leading culinary teams in full-service hotels throughout the Dallas–Fort Worth area, Chef Burak founded Ferah Tex-Med Kitchen® and expanded his passion for hospitality into Ferah Catering & Events. Today, he oversees a team specializing in weddings, corporate events, social celebrations, and large-scale catering experiences, combining innovative cuisine, seamless event execution, and personalized service to create memorable occasions throughout North Texas. His commitment to culinary excellence and genuine hospitality has earned the Ferah family of brands numerous awards and a loyal following.
Jeremy Berlin
General Manager & Co-Founder
Jeremy Berlin is the Co-Founder of Ferah and brings more than 20 years of hospitality leadership to Ferah Catering & Events. Throughout his career, he has held executive leadership positions at hospitality properties across six states, overseeing more than $500 million in assets while developing expertise in hotel operations, food and beverage, finance, and large-scale event execution. Most recently serving as Area General Manager of three properties, Jeremy was recognized as Starwood's Chief Operating Officer of the Year in 2015. His extensive experience in hospitality operations, strategic planning, and guest service has been instrumental in building Ferah Catering & Events into a trusted partner for weddings, corporate events, galas, and social celebrations. Jeremy continues to oversee the company's financial strategy, business analytics, and operational growth while ensuring every event reflects the exceptional hospitality that defines the Ferah brand.
Stephanie Özcan
Co-Founder
Stephanie Ozcan is a seasoned creative and communications expert who leads the branding, marketing, and client experience initiatives for Ferah Catering & Events. After earning her degree in Strategic Communications from Texas Christian University, Stephanie built a diverse career across transportation, digital advertising, and community management industries, developing expertise in brand strategy, communications, and customer engagement.
Since joining Ferah, Stephanie has played an integral role in shaping the company's identity, designing the interiors of all four Ferah restaurant locations, and creating the visual experience guests and clients recognize today. As Catering Concierge, Stephanie works directly with clients throughout the planning process, helping curate memorable menus and experiences with a special focus on weddings and milestone celebrations. Her 14 years of strategic communications experience allow her to oversee every aspect of Ferah's brand presence, from marketing and media relations to digital platforms and client relationships.
Heidi Berlin
Community Relations Manager
Heidi Berlin serves as Ferah Catering & Events' Community Relations Director, building meaningful relationships with clients, local businesses, nonprofit organizations, and community partners throughout the Dallas–Fort Worth area. With more than 27 years of customer service experience, Heidi is passionate about creating exceptional client experiences from the first conversation to the final event. Her expertise in relationship management and hospitality helps strengthen Ferah's connections throughout the community while supporting weddings, corporate events, charitable fundraisers, and social celebrations. Whether representing Ferah at local events or working alongside the team behind the scenes, Heidi is dedicated to making every interaction warm, personal, and memorable.
London Stegman
Marketing Coordinator
London Stegman brings a unique combination of graphic design expertise, sales experience, and hospitality knowledge to Ferah Catering & Events. Early in her career, London developed a strong foundation in the hospitality industry while earning her degree in Graphic Design, allowing her to combine creativity with a deep understanding of guest service and client relationships.
Passionate about storytelling through design, London helps bring the Ferah brand experience to life through thoughtful communication, creative strategy, and personalized client support. As part of the catering team, she works closely with couples and event hosts throughout the planning process, helping streamline details and ensure each celebration reflects the client's unique vision. From weddings to special events, London is dedicated to creating experiences that feel intentional, memorable, and uniquely Ferah.
Sanjay Desai
South Asian Cuisine Specialist
Chef Sanjay Desai met Chef Burak while working together at Samar by Stephan Pyles in Downtown Dallas. Sanjay brings over two decades of culinary experience to our team, specifically in South Asian cooking. Growing up in India, Sanjay realized his passion for cuisine at a young age. As a vegetarian himself, Chef Sanjay has a talent for making flavorful vegetarian dishes that impress even the most loyal meat lovers.
Tom Urann
Expert Mixologist
Tom Urann is Ferah's expert mixologist. Originally from Washington, Tom has spent the past six years in DFW. After years in restaurant management roles, Tom realized his true passion is creating an unforgettable experience at the bar. His management experience ensures you will receive exceptional service when you trust Ferah with your mixology and bartending needs.
Chasey Brown
Marketing & Sales Coordinator
Chasey is a Texas local who began her journey with Ferah in 2022 as a host at our Garland Tex-Med location. With this being her first step into the restaurant world, she quickly discovered a passion for hospitality and the vibrant energy of service. Her bubbly personality and natural creativity helped her grow from hosting to serving, bartending, and ultimately into her current role on the sales team. With a background in creative arts, Chasey brings a unique blend of imagination, hospitality, and operational insight. Her experience both in front-of-house roles and behind the scenes gives her a deep understanding of the Ferah guest experience, allowing her to support our team and clients with authenticity, creativity, and care.
